Quick Wrap: Nifty Pharma Index falls 1.20%

Nifty Pharma index ended down 1.20% at 8179.6 today. The index has slipped 9.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Dr Reddys Laboratories Ltd shed 2.88%, Biocon Ltd slipped 2.87% and Piramal Enterprises Ltd rose 2.00%. The Nifty Pharma index has fallen 1.00% over last one year compared to the 10.24% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Financial Services index gained 0.91% and Nifty Services Sector index added 0.68% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 added 0.23% to close at 11870.65 while the SENSEX recorded a gain of 0.22% to close at 39615.9 today.
