Quick Wrap: Nifty Pharma Index gains 3.54%

Nifty Pharma index ended up 3.54% at 8412.2 today. The index has gained 8.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Cadila Healthcare Ltd rose 12.01%, Divis Laboratories Ltd jumped 4.89% and Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd added 4.64%. The Nifty Pharma index has fallen 10.00% over last one year compared to the 25.04% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Auto index gained 1.86% and Nifty Media index increased 1.79% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 0.49% to close at 8748.75 while the SENSEX has slid 0.58% to close at 29893.96 today.
