Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 1.89%

Nifty Realty index ended up 1.89% at 404.25 today. The index has gained 0.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Macrotech Developers Ltd rose 5.07%, Sobha Ltd gained 2.92% and Sunteck Realty Ltd jumped 2.74%. The Nifty Realty index has soared 14.00% over last one year compared to the 3.91% increase in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Media index gained 1.49% and Nifty FMCG index is down 1.05% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 0.37% to close at 16356.25 while the SENSEX has slid 0.39% to close at 54892.49 today.
