Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index gains 2.77%

Nifty Realty index ended up 2.77% at 220.85 today. The index has gained 2.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Brigade Enterprises Ltd rose 9.69%, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd added 4.94% and Sunteck Realty Ltd gained 4.72%. The Nifty Realty index has fallen 29.00% over last one year compared to the 0.58% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty IT index has dropped 2.13% and Nifty Pharma index has dropped 1.52% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has dropped 0.06% to close at 10380.45 while the SENSEX has slid 0.03% to close at 34431.97 today.
