Quick Wrap: Nifty Realty Index registers a drop of 4.18%, NIFTY Crashes 1.71%

Nifty Realty index closed down 4.18% at 177.7 today. The index has added 1.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Oberoi Realty Ltd dropped 11.57%, DLF Ltd slipped 6.42% and Sobha Ltd fell 4.98%. The Nifty Realty index has decreased 33.00% over last one year compared to the 21.37% fall in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Financial Services index has slid 3.84% and Nifty PSU Bank index is down 3.70% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 is down 1.71% to close at 9154.4 while the SENSEX has slid 1.68% to close at 31327.22 today.
