Real Estate shares crash

Real Estate stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index falling 155.85 points or 8.06% at 1777 at 13:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 18.91%), DLF Ltd (down 10.07%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (down 8.3%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 6.42%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 5.47%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Oberoi Realty Ltd (down 4.98%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (down 4.97%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 4.97%), Sobha Ltd (down 3.79%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 1.38%).

At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 2221.61 or 6.22% at 33475.79.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 644.15 points or 6.16% at 9814.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 955.97 points or 7.51% at 11769.18.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 284.08 points or 6.46% at 4116.21.

On BSE,172 shares were trading in green, 2166 were trading in red and 90 were unchanged.
