Real Estate shares spurt
Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 33.26 points or 1.7% at 1984.49 at 09:48 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sunteck Realty Ltd (up 3.97%), Sobha Ltd (up 2.33%),DLF Ltd (up 2.21%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 1.89%),Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 1.83%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 1.69%), Godrej Properties Ltd (up 1.52%), Omaxe Ltd (up 0.75%), Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.28%), and Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 0.2%).
At 09:48 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 98.09 or 0.25% at 38604.18.
The Nifty 50 index was up 43.45 points or 0.38% at 11471.75.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 78.53 points or 0.61% at 12852.14.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 23.43 points or 0.54% at 4377.88.
On BSE,854 shares were trading in green, 484 were trading in red and 79 were unchanged.
