Industrials shares fall

Industrials stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Industrials index falling 187.36 points or 7.56% at 2290.76 at 13:52 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Industrials index, Future Supply Chain Solutions Ltd (down 19.99%), Snowman Logistics Ltd (down 19.92%),Ashoka Buildcon Ltd (down 18.82%),Welspun Enterprises Ltd (down 16.04%),Arshiya Ltd (down 15.97%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were KEI Industries Ltd (down 15.91%), Usha Martin Ltd (down 15.86%), Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Ltd (down 15.6%), Sanghvi Movers Ltd (down 15.52%), and J Kumar Infraprojects Ltd (down 15.25%).

On the other hand, Reliance Naval & Engineering Ltd (up 4.73%), Tata Motors-DVR (up 1.38%), and Technocraft Industries (India) Ltd (up 0.56%) moved up.

 

At 13:52 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 2221.61 or 6.22% at 33475.79.

The Nifty 50 index was down 644.15 points or 6.16% at 9814.25.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 955.97 points or 7.51% at 11769.18.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 284.08 points or 6.46% at 4116.21.

On BSE,172 shares were trading in green, 2166 were trading in red and 90 were unchanged.
