Real Estate shares rise

Real Estate stocks were trading with gains, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index rising 38.98 points or 1.84% at 2160.02 at 09:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, DLF Ltd (up 4.94%), Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 4.71%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (up 2.47%),Sobha Ltd (up 1.76%),Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.75%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Omaxe Ltd (up 0.14%), and Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (up 0.02%).

On the other hand, Godrej Properties Ltd (down 1.19%), and Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 0.79%) moved lower.

At 09:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 103.86 or 0.26% at 40549.88.

 

The Nifty 50 index was down 27.25 points or 0.23% at 11984.8.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 45.37 points or 0.33% at 13591.4.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 11.48 points or 0.25% at 4685.06.

On BSE,800 shares were trading in green, 642 were trading in red and 80 were unchanged.
