Sectoral indices crash on NSE

The Nifty 50 tanked 830.85 points or 7.94% to 9,627.55.

Among the sectoral indices on the NSE, the Nifty PSU Bank index (down 13.24%), the Nifty Media index (down 10.37%), the Nifty Realty index (down 10.32%), the Nifty Bank index (down 9.79%), the Nifty Metal index (down 9.42%), the Nifty Private Bank index (down 9.36%), the Nifty Financial Service index (down 9.12%), the Nifty Pharma index (down 9.11%), the Nifty IT index (down 8.9%), the Nifty Auto index (down 8.3%) and the Nifty FMCG index (down 7.16%) slumped.

In broader market, Nifty Mid-Cap 100 index (down 7.87%) and Nifty Small-Cap 100 index (down 9.45%) slumped.
