Sovereign Diamonds standalone net profit declines 12.50% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales decline 42.83% to Rs 8.65 crore

Net profit of Sovereign Diamonds declined 12.50% to Rs 0.42 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 0.48 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales declined 42.83% to Rs 8.65 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 15.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 13.22% to Rs 1.05 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 1.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales declined 15.05% to Rs 45.20 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 53.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
