United Breweries consolidated net profit rises 133.62% in the March 2021 quarter

Sales rise 8.39% to Rs 1544.64 crore

Net profit of United Breweries rose 133.62% to Rs 97.14 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 41.58 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020. Sales rose 8.39% to Rs 1544.64 crore in the quarter ended March 2021 as against Rs 1425.11 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2020.

For the full year,net profit declined 73.53% to Rs 113.22 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 427.73 crore during the previous year ended March 2020. Sales declined 34.81% to Rs 4243.09 crore in the year ended March 2021 as against Rs 6509.24 crore during the previous year ended March 2020.
