Bharat Bijlee clocked volume of 1.13 lakh shares by 14:16 IST on BSE, a 22.96-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 5,000 shares. The stock jumped 9.14% to Rs 1,508 after net profit galloped 190.7% to Rs 9.65 crore on 34.3% growth in net sales to Rs 227.71 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 24 January 2018.
United Breweries notched up volume of 3 lakh shares, a 12.64-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 24,000 shares. The stock declined 0.45% to Rs 1,135.15.
Everest Industries saw volume of 89,000 shares, a 10.84-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 8,000 shares. The stock gained 4.61% at Rs 612 after the company reported net profit of Rs 9.43 crore in Q3 December 2017, compared with net loss of Rs 14.15 crore in Q3 December 2016. Everest Industries' net sales rose 16.3% to Rs 290.62 crore in Q3 December 2017 over Q3 December 2016. The result was announced after market hours yesterday, 24 January 2018.
