City Union Bank clocked volume of 2.56 crore shares by 13:42 IST on BSE, a 262.88-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 98,000 shares. The stock lost 1.31% at Rs 71.70.
Himatsingka Seide notched up volume of 8.47 lakh shares, a 14.77-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 57,000 shares. The stock surged 5.1% to Rs 61.85.
Ajanta Pharma saw volume of 95,000 shares, a 6.08-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 16,000 shares. The stock rose 3.49% to Rs 1,402.70.
Escorts clocked volume of 34.71 lakh shares, a 6.06-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 5.72 lakh shares. The stock rose 1.16% at Rs 135.35.
