Volumes jump at Finolex Cables counter

Eris Lifesciences, Gandhi Special Tubes, Infosys and Eicher Motors are among the other stocks to see a surge in volumes on BSE at 14:15 IST today, 19 December 2017.

Meanwhile, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 149.40 points or 0.44% at 33,751.08.

Finolex Cables clocked volume of 3.94 lakh shares, a 28.65-times surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock was up 3.7% at Rs 711.

Eris Lifesciences notched up volume of 3.51 lakh shares, a 24.75-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 14,000 shares. The stock rose 0.63% at Rs 782.

Gandhi Special Tubes saw volume of 1.87 lakh shares, a 16.69-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock jumped 17.69% at Rs 409.20.

 

Infosys clocked volume of 17.13 lakh shares, a 9.84-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.74 lakh shares. The stock dropped 1.12% at Rs 1,004.

Eicher Motors saw volume of 18,000 shares, a 9.08-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 2,000 shares. The stock gained 3% at Rs 30,806.10.
