Kirloskar Brothers clocked volume of 10.1 lakh shares by 13:55 IST on BSE, a 90.31 times surge over two-week average daily volume of 11,000 shares. The stock jumped 9.24% at Rs 134.80.
Infosys notched up volume of 57.49 lakh shares, a 43.32-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.33 lakh shares. The stock declined 1.76% at Rs 1,180 after a block deal of 55.20 lakh shares was executed on the counter at Rs 1,176.80 per share at 9:46 IST on BSE today, 7 April 2016.
Shree Cement saw volume of 27,000 shares, a 26.5-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock gained 0.11% at Rs 12,430.
Ashoka Buildcon clocked volume of 19.64 lakh shares, a 18.93-fold surge over two-week average daily volume of 1.04 lakh shares. The stock gained 2.79% at Rs 139.80.
Glaxosmithkline Pharmaceuticals saw volume of 15,000 shares, a 10.14-fold rise over two-week average daily volume of 1,000 shares. The stock shed 1.24% at Rs 3,675.
