5.5-magnitude quake hits Afghanistan

An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted Afghanistan on Sunday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake hit 43 km south of Jarm, Xinhua news agency cited the USGS as saying. The epicentre had a depth of 176.74 km.
