5 killed in PKK attacks in Turkey

At least five persons were killed and 12 injured in two separate attacks by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Turkey on Thursday.

Two policemen were killed in a car bomb attack near a checkpoint in the city of Hakkari, Efe news cited an Anadolu news agency report.

Moreover, three soldiers died when a bomb explosion hit a military armoured vehicle in Siirt province on Wednesday night.
