A court here on Tuesday granted bail to an advocate who was arrested on charges of usurping a property in south Delhi by making forged document.
Advocate Dilip Puri was arrested on Tuesday morning and presented before Metropolitan Magistrate Ankita Lal in the Saket Court Complex hours later.
The court granted him bail observing that he had joined the investigation and asked him to furnish a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh and two surety bonds of like amount.
The court directed him not to leave the country without permission and not to influence the witnesses or tamper with evidence.
Puri was arrested after police got a forensic lab report which confirmed that he had committed forgery while making the property paper.
