Amit Shah hails 'poor-friendly' budget

Shah said that this budget will help strengthen Modi's aim of bringing poor and villagers into mainstream of development

BJP president Amit Shah on Monday hailed the general budget as "pro-poor" and "pro-farmers".

"I thank and congratulate Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for keeping farmers, poor and rural India at the centre of union budget," Shah told reporters after the budget was presented in parliament.
