Apollo Hospitals to come out with rights issue

City-based Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. on Thursday said it closed last fiscal with a net profit of Rs.346.5 crore, up from Rs.330.7 crore posted during 2013-14.

The company has also decided to come out with a rights issue for a sum not exceeding Rs.750 crore.

In a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company said its total income has gone up to Rs.4,638.06 crore last year as against Rs.3,884.09 crore earned during 2013-14.

The company board has recommended a dividend of Rs.5.75 per share for 2014-15.
