A court here on Wednesday dismissed the bail plea of a Delhi Police Sub-Inspector arrested on charges of misappropriating Rs 18 lakh in demonetised currency.
Metropolitan Magistrate Sushil Kumar dismissed the bail plea of Sub-Inspector Sudhir Rathi, who is in judicial custody till December 13.
Rathi, posted at Kalyanpuri police station, was arrested on Sunday after he allegedly misappropriated Rs 18 lakh in old notes belonging to Bihar-based cloth merchant Amanatullah Wasim.
