Arvind tops Nashik rally championship

Arvind K.P. emerged as the overall winner after the first round of the MRF National Rally Championship racing event for two wheelers here on Monday.

Naresh V.S. finished overall second, while Abdul Wahid emerged third.

A total of 48 riders entered the event and 38 finished the race. The total distance of the rally was 170 Kilometres with four competitive stages.

This was the first of the five-round championship and the other rounds will be conducted in Coimbatore, Chikkamagaluru, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. This championship has been revived after a gap of eight years.
