Boxer Shiva Thapa beaten in Rio Olympics

Indian boxer Shiva Thapa was beaten by Cuba's Robeisy Ramirez 0-3 in his men's Bantam weight (56kg) category at the Rio Olympics here on Thursday.

Shiva was on the backfoot from the very beginning of the contest in Pavilion 6 at the Riocentro and was well beaten on points, losing all the three rounds.
