Bundesliga football club Werder Bremen fired their coach Robin Dutt Saturday following the team's nine-game winless start to the season.
Bremen's 0-1 defeat at home to Cologne Friday turned out to be the last straw for the 49-year-old Dutt, whose side sit at bottom of the standings with only four points collected but 23 goals conceded in nine matches, reports Xinhua.
The club's Under-23 coach Viktor Skripnik has been named as the caretaker before Bremen find a new coach.
