BSF foils infiltration bid in Jammu district

The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday foiled an infiltration bid from across the international border in Jammu district.

"Alert BSF troops noticed suspicious movements of three to four people during the night (August 19-20) in Arnia sub-sector of R.S. Pura. BSF troopers fired at the intruders who withdrew into the Pakistan side of the international border," a senior police officer told IANS here.
