Nine buses were damaged by a mob after a youth was crushed to death by a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus here Friday morning, police said.
The incident occurred at Bara Hinu Rao area in north Delhi.
Ainin Hyder, 18, riding a scooter, was hit by a DTC bus. He was declared brought dead at a hospital.
Hyder's relatives and neighbours protested outside a police station against the accident and demanded action against the bus driver. The protestors damaged nine buses and pelted stones on police.
Police said the bus driver Jagram Meena was arrested from the spot. The situation was under control following deployment of police in the area.
