Chit fund promoters arrested in J&K

Kolkata, April 23 (IANS) Sudipto Sen, the promoter of the chit fund funded by the Saradha Group, was arrested from Sonmarg in Jammu and Kasmir Tuesday with two of his associates, police here said.

"They were arrested from a hotel. The other two arrested are company director Debjani Mukherjee and Arvind Singh Chauhan," a police officer said.

Their identities are being verified, he said.
