Cloudy day, rain likely in Delhi

A cloudy day with chances of light rain lies ahead for Delhi Thursday, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The minimum temperature early Thursday was a notch below the season's average at 6.5 degrees Celsius.

Fog enveloped the national capital in the morning, with visibility dropping to 200 meters at 8.30 a.m., according to the Met Office.

The maximum temperature during the day is expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius.

Wednesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 20.7 degrees Celsius -- average for this time of the year, while the minimum was 4.4 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
