Cook shattered after being dropped: Anderson

England pacer James Anderson has said captain Alaistair Cook was shattered after being dropped from One-Day Internationals (ODI) side following a terrible run of form with the bat and was "very, very upset" following the decision.
"I saw Cooky at the World Darts Championship at the 'Ally Pally' (Alexandra Palace is a historic entertainment venue in Alexandra Park, London) just three days after he lost his job. He was very, very upset and still a bit raw," Anderson was quoted as saying by dailytelegraph.co.uk.
"To change the captain so close to the World Cup was a big call but the selectors clearly felt Cooky's form with the bat had been too poor for too long," said the 32-year-old.
Anderson also hoped Eoin Morgan will be a good captain.
"Eoin Morgan has a sharp cricket brain and knows the one-day game inside out. That's where he made his reputation and he will be a good captain," he added.
Anderson has 257 wicket from 184 ODIs.
