Copa Libertadores: River Plate snatch point against Flamengo

Argentina's River Plate twice came from behind to earn a 2-2 draw with Brazilian side Flamengo in their opening Copa Libertadores group match here.
Henrique Dourado gave the hosts the lead by converting a 54th-minute penalty after Leonardo Ponzio brought down former Atletico Madrid midfielder Diego on Wednesday, reports Xinhua news agency.
Rodrigo Mora equalized with a header after a Nicolas de la Cruz set piece before Everton restored the hosts' lead by latching onto a Lucas Patequa's through ball and firing a low shot past goalkeeper Franco Armani.
However River Plate continued to attack relentlessly and they got their reward when Camilo Mayada struck with a long-range effort three minutes from time to secure a valuable point away from home.
In Colombia, Brazil's Corinthians held Millonarios to a goalless draw at the Campin in Bogotá while in other matches Bolivian side Bolivar drew 1-1 with Delfin in Ecuador and Argentina's Estudiantes held Nacional to a goalless draw in Uruguay.
