Television personality Courtney Stodden and actor Doug Hutchison have made their split official and signed a legal separation document.
The legal agreement was signed by both the parties on Saturday and, according to the papers, they will continue to live in the same house for now. It also says that despite their split, the duo plan to remain friends and business partners.
In an interview with E! News, Stodden, 19, opened up about the breakdown of her three-year marriage saying she realised it was doomed when she went away to film "Big Brother" in Britain.
"I couldn't neglect my desires and wanting to embrace my independence and freedom," she said.
Stodden added that she's "feeling good" about her decision even though "any breakup is stressful".
When asked what went wrong, she said: "My age, obviously."
Stodden was 16 when she married Hutchison in 2011.
