Del Piero left out of Delhi Dynamos starting 11

Delhi Dynamos 'marquee' player Alessandro Del Piero was left out of the starting eleven in their first match of the Indian Super League (ISL) against visitors FC Pune City at the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium here Tuesday.

Del Piero, who has featured in only one out of four practice matches played by Dynamos was presumed to be unfit to play 90 minutes and was named on the substitutes' bench.

His one-time club team-mate Frenchman David Trezeguet, however, was in Pune's starting line-up.
