Delhi Metro to build subway

Delhi Metro said Sunday it will build a 70-metre underground subway near the upcoming station at Moti Bagh in south Delhi.

This will facilitate the entry of passengers to the station from areas like New Moti Bagh and Shanti Path, it said. The subway will also be open for use for general pedestrians.

Delhi Metro ferries about 23 lakh people every day.
