Descendant of Shivaji nominated to Rajya Sabha

President Pranab Mukherjee on Saturday nominated social worker Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati to the Rajya Sabha.

Sambhajiraje Chhatrapati is the 13th descendant of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji. He was nominated to fill the vacancy of a nominated member, said an official statement.
