Four people have died and about 50 have taken ill following diarrhoea and vomiting in Vanchavani village in Madhya Pradesh, an official said.
Families living in a particular part of the village became suddenly ill on Saturday, Hoshangabad district's Chief Medical Officer J.L. Maravi told IANS on Sunday.
He said about 50 people were being treated by doctors.
