Police on Monday said it has registered a case against an unknown person who allegedly molested a Delhi University student and masturbated in front of her inside a moving bus in Delhi.
The victim has shared a video recording of the February 7 incident on social media sites and with the police that shows a man with with salt-pepper beard acting inappropriately.
The BA Third Year student has alleged that when she was returning from her college around 3 p.m. last Wednesday, a 45-year-old man, seated next to her, started touching her inappropriately and masturbating.
She said she called for help from other passengers in the bus but no one intervened.
The woman has alleged police took time to register her complaint and an FIR was lodged at Vasant Vihar Police Station after she shared the video online and the Delhi Commission for Women intervened.
