Eduardo Berizzo signed as Athletic Bilbao's new coach

Top-flight Spanish football side Athletic Bilbao on Thursday announced that Eduardo Berizzo will be their coach for next season after signing a contract for one year until June 30, 2019.

The new Bilbao coach, who is replacing Jose Angel Ziganda, is scheduled to be presented later on Thursday alongside the club president Josu Urrutia, reports Efe.

Berizzo is coming to Bilbao with a coaching staff consisting of Ernesto Marcucci, Pablo Fernandez, Carlos Kisluk, Roberto Bonano and Mariano Uglessich, who already accompanied Berizzo in his last job on the bench of Sevilla.

Argentine skipper Berizzo began his coaching career with the Chilean national team as an assistant to Marcelo Bielsa and later trained Estudiantes de La Plata in Argentina and Chile's O'Higgins as well as Celta de Vigo and Sevilla in the La Liga.
