Engineer shot at in Ranchi

A government engineer was shot at in front of his office here on Monday, police said.

The engineer, belonging to the Public Works Department (PWD), was shot in front of his office near Morabadi ground and was subsequently rushed to hospital, the police said. His condition was said to be critical.

The scene of the crime is close to the state guest house and other government offices.
