England set 270-run target for Australia

England made 269 for six in 50 overs against Australia in a Group A match of the Champions Trophy at the Edgbaston here Saturday.

Ian Bell top scored with a patient 91 off 115 balls while Jonathan Trott (43) and Ravi Bopara (46 not out) came up with valuable contributions.

Fast bowlers Clint McKay (2-38) and James Faulkner (248) were the notable wicket takers for Australia.
