Fang Bo reaches semis at World TT

Chinese Fang Bo reached the men's singles semi-finals at the World Table Tennis Championships here on Saturday.

The 23-year-old overcame a worrying third game to beat Patrick Franziska from Germany 11-5, 11-9, 8-11, 11-5, 11-5 in the quarter-finals, reports Xinhua.

Fang's reward will be a semi-final clash against the winner between defending champion Zhang Jike and Japan's World No.5 Jun Mizutani.
