Fire at Kolkata market

A major fire broke out in a plywood godown in Kolkata's Burrabazar area Monday, fire department officials said.

Twenty-five fire tenders were pressed into service. No casualty or injury has been reported, an official said.

West Bengal Fire Services Minister Javed Khan was at the site to supervise the fire-fighting operation.
