A four-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by a 15-year-old boy living in his neighbourhood here, the police said on Saturday.
The victim was lured by the teenager, who lives with his brother, and raped, a senior police officer told IANS.
The mother of the victim was out on work and the teenager was also unsupervised when the crime took place, he said.
The accused has since been absconding.
"We have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012," the police officer said.
