George Clooney reported to Venice police

Actor George Clooney has been reported to the Venice police for driving a water taxi without a permit.

The 52-year-old is promoting his new movie "Gravity" at the Venice Film Festival. He was photographed steering a boat Thursday, following which a local lawyer reported him to officials, reports contactmusic.com.

According to La Nuova Venezia newspaper, attorney Mario D'Elia complained and asked the police to check if Clooney has a nautical licence and a permit to drive a water taxi.
