Himachal installs 6K bins with BJP MPs' names

The waste bins, installed in pairs for storing wet and dry garbage with Swachh Bharat written on them, have been installed by public sector undertaking (SJVNL) with an outlay of Rs 2.66 crore as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities.

Likewise, another 13,000 waste bins would be installed by another central government enterprise with an expenditure of Rs 2.59 crore.

The garbage disposal responsibly is of EESL (Energy Efficiency Services Ltd), a joint venture of PSUs under Union Power Ministry, which has made mutual agreement by associating of each municipality and panchayat body.
