Indian gets five-year jail term in Bahrain

An Indian is among two expatriates who have been jailed by a Bahraini court for five years each for selling a banned psycho-stimulant drug.
High Criminal Court of Bahrain Sunday convicted the 41-year-old Indian manager and a Sri Lankan driver, 37, of selling the banned drug methamphetamine, the Gulf Daily News reported Monday.
The accused were also fined 3,000 Bahraini dinar (over $7,950).
