IndiGo to introduce new Chennai-Muscat daily flight

Budget passenger carrier IndiGo on Monday said it will introduce a new flight service between Chennai and Muscat from December 15.

"IndiGo will be offering introductory fare of Rs 7,999 all-inclusive one-way from Chennai," the airline said in a statement.

"The introduction of the new daily service will further strengthen IndiGo's presence in the Gulf with 16 daily flights, where it has emerged as one of the leading carriers on this sector, catering to the large number of Indians in the Gulf."

According to the low cost carrier (LCC), the new service from Chennai will complement the airline's existing daily Gulf operations to Muscat and Dubai from several cities in India.

 

Currently, the airline with a fleet of 122 aircraft offers 883 daily flights connecting 41 domestic and five international destinations.
