Jordanian Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour Sunday voiced support for Iraq at all levels amidst the fight between the Iraqi army and Islamic State militants, state media reported.
At a meeting with his Iraqi counterpart Haidar al-Abadi, Ensour said Jordan wants a strong Iraq, not a divided one, adding that it will offer all the efforts to restore security in Iraq, Xinhua reported.
He also highlighted the solid relations between the two countries.
For his part, Abadi expressed his country's support for enhancing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Meanwhile, the two sides made commitment to building an oil pipeline from Iraq's Basra to Jordan's Aqaba, which will help export Iraqi oil and meet Jordan's needs.
