Actress Kate Hudson says "comfortable" red carpet looks are the best.
The 36-year-old, who is known for flaunting lovely red carpet outfits, said her secret is to always wear something she feels she can "party in afterwards", because listening to the guidance of numerous designers and stylists can result in a messy look.
"There are so many voices telling you what you should be wearing. I've learned that what works best for me is something I feel comfortable in - something I can go on to the party in afterwards," femalefirst.co.uk quoted her as saying.
The "How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days" made the comments while talking to 61-year-old actress and former model Rene Russo, who said she "hated" Kate when she first saw her at an event because she always looks great.
"I hated you the first time I ran across you on a red carpet. You looked so happy in your skin. You looked amazing, and - I don't mean this rudely - you looked as though you knew it... you must have a great mother," Rossa said.
