Lindsay Lohan signs documentary series

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been signed by international talk show host Oprah Winfrey's OWN cable network for an eight-episode documentary series.

"OWN will air an exclusive interview with Oprah and Lindsay Lohan that will tape and air in August and an eight-part documentary series with Lindsay for 2014," insidetv.ew.com quoted an OWN spokesperson as saying.

The 27-year-old is serving a 90-day court-ordered stint in a rehabilitation facility that is expected to end July 31.
